It’s a victory in the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) to sustain the throne in Sepak Takraw, bagging their 6th championship title and won 9 gold in the yearly Intramurals of Bulacan State University.

The championship match was held at the Activity Center last August 28. With three wins and no loss, the CIT Sepak team proved that they are number one in terms of playing Sepak as they defeated Bustos campus Tigers (Silver), College of Engineering Red Ants (Bronze), Sarmiento Campus (4th placer).

“Wala eh, hindi naman kami nahirapan kasi lahat naman ng players ko full training, kahit kasi mga seniors nila nakakalaban nila, kaya sa tingin ko mas batak sila sa laro,” said team coach Jeffrey Llauderes.

With the regular training schedule of his players and good performance of them, Coach Llauderes already expected that they will be the champion again.

He proudly said, Expected na, kasi malakas 'yong team namin. Kasi 'yong players namin kumpleto naman eh walang patapon. Lahat pwede lumaban kaya 'yon ang tingin ko. Wala kaming butas sa regu kaya expected nang kami 'yong mananalo”.

The players of CIT Sepak team, consists of Gio Rafael Enriquez, Errol Ostan, Diocel Dalubatan, Gomer Mejos, Philip Inieco, Ian Mayhay, Jed Alvarez, Julius Alvarez, Christian Salomon, Joseph Surio, Alexix Bayaborda, and Justin Palusoc feels overwhelmed and proud after oening their sixth championship title.

Through his good service which made his team to score, Gio Rafael Enriquez was chosen to be the best player, according to coach Llauderes.

“Dahil sa service niya. Kada service niya kasi umi-i-score naman kaya sa tingin ko siya 'yong best player,said coach Lluderes. 

Moreover, the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) won 40 Gold, 32 Silver and 37 Bronze which made the college to be in the 2nd place in ranking of medal tally, failing to get their 3rd championship title in Intramurals, which was owned now by the College of Physical Education, Recreation ans Sports (COPERS).
