Bulacan State University - College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Stingers, the defending champion for two years, settled for rank two in the BulSU Intamurals 2012 that was successfully held on August 27 to 31.

After having a controversial victory last year over College of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports (COPERS), the Stingers let go of the titile and handed it to the Stallions. CIT should have gotten the Infinity Trophy if they were declared champion this year, but the victory ended at COPERS’s hand.

Wala kaming pagkukulang. Pinaghandaan lang talaga kami ng COPERS. Lahat ng nag-te-training (varsity) nando'n,” said Coach Raul Bernaldez, a four-year CIT Sports Coordinator and an eight-year Sepak Takraw BulSU Varsity Coach.

Meanwhile on the winners' side, the college did not expect that they will own the championship this year.

“Kami sa COPERS nagduda on winning over-all kasi karamihan ng sports hindi na pwedeng lumaro 'yong magaling sa college dahil athlete sila sa SCUAA," COPERS Basketball men coach Alvin Agulla said.

Agulla also said it was because of CIT’s controversial win last year that made the COPERS prepare so well for the event this year.

“Last year 2nd kami. Dahil maraming nagprotesta, pinaghandaan namin ngayon 'yong mga ganyang issue,” he ended.
